i have purchased the kitchenaid 1170 CFM hood which was recommended by a friend. he absolutely is true to his word. the fan is amazingly powerful except that the noise is a bit loud,probably that's why it is so powerful. one time i had burnt something, the smell is gone shortly after i turned on the fan. The control options are neat. i would highly recommend it as well.

Nice Range Hood

We have had this range hood for several years and it has not had any issues. We like the look of the hood and the ability to clean it is easy. It is relatively quiet on the highest setting. There are 3 stove facing lights that provide ample light for cooking. We did not give this the 5th star because it does not extract the odors as quickly as we would like. If I cook bacon for instance, I have to leave the hood on for at least an hour before the odor is gone.

We™€™ve been very happy with this KitchenAid range hood. It looks great in our kitchen, feels well built, and does a good job removing smoke and cooking odors. The controls are easy to use, the lighting is helpful, and the fan provides good ventilation without being overly complicated. Overall, it works exactly as expected and has been a great addition to our kitchen. Would recommend.

Rebate issue ™€"false sales

I purchased 2 complete sets of appliances which are Al kitchen aid. Love the appliances and they look great in my 2 kitchens. What I™€™m extremely upset about was the purchase experience.. Amanda Carbajel at Buy, cell number 626-438-6391 told me that we would get an additional rebate from kitchen Aid once installation was complete. It™€™s been complete for a couple of Best Buy. Please resolve. Call me at 90964680)0 months but I was told by her that you won™€™t honor the rebate because Best Buy is not part of the deal but the print is so small that people at Best Buy did not know. Best Buy has tried to get to get help but I™€™m told that no one at Kitchen Aid will talk to Besthelp from you to no™€™s

Aesthetically looks great. The motherboard burnt on the first try. After nearly four months of frustrated rounds of phone calls to customer service, had to escalate it to corporate via the BBB complaint. Took corporate only two weeks to correct it with a replacement vent hood. It was clearly a defective motherboard, which I hope is an aberration. Adam at corporate was totally awesome! New vent hood works well. The only thing I wish I should have done is to buy a bigger fan motor. The recommended 585 CFM fan motor is not adequate as the smart heat sensor on the vent hood automatically kicks in whenever the front area near the control switches heats up while cooking with lowest fan setting.

Auto ON Fan Feature should be ripped out

I have a new home, with a new Kitchenaid Hood. This ™€œfeature™€ is a nightmare because once it goes on by itself, I can™€™t turn it off. This hood goes on by itself with full force when I am heating my teapot. Nothing else is cooking on the stove but a teapot. I turn off the stove and the fan keeps blasting for 5 minutes. Steam triggers it, not a smokey pan frying bacon. You™€™d never know this was a ™€œfeature or a good thing™€. Now I can™€™t use my teapot. I called KitchenAid tech service today and they are denying there is something wrong with it, nor want to service the sensor. This automatic feature didn™€™t go on when I was frying tortillas with a high flame, it only went on this morning full ™€œboost™€ blast with my little teapot on medium heat. I do not recommend this hood. I™€™m asking my builder Toll Brothers to take it out and give me a different brand. This is a newly installed hood in 2022. Model KVWC906KSS

Die Right After Installation

Can™€™t give review, because the hood die after it was installed on the same day. At the first ™€œon™€ switch the motherboard fried. I am waiting for replacement but KitchenId refused to replace it. Parts is on back ordered since June 2022. As to date Oct. 25, 2022 the vent is still broken. I™€™m done supporting Whirlpool.
